About this project

This project will increase safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles in the area around the Airport Link light rail station. Improvements will focus on:

• 32nd Avenue South (between South 170th Street and South 180th Street)
• South 180th Street
• South 176th Street between International Boulevard and 32nd Avenue South

Construction bidding opened on July 2, 2026. We expect work to begin by early September 2026.

• Standalone bicycle lanes, separating bicycles from vehicles
