Employment standards for hospitality and transportation employers

Learn about our City’s wage and employment requirements for certain airport employers. If you’re an employee, you can also learn how to respond to a violation of these requirements.

What employers need to know

On August 20, 2015, the Washington State Supreme Court ruled that we can enforce our city’s minimum wage requirements and other employment standards at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

This means that hospitality and transportation industry employers at the airport must follow these standards.

For more information about this decision, you can read the Court’s ruling.
