Beautification accomplishments
Through our Public Works Beautification Program, the Maintenance Division has helped pick up litter pickup and remove graffiti. Here are some highlights from 2023 and 2024:
- Collected over 1,700 bags of litter in 2023
- Spent over 300 hours clearing illegal dumping, filling over 200 bags
- Spent 250 hours removing graffiti
- Received a $60,000 grant from the Department of Ecology to pick up more litter on freeway ramps
