Responsibilities
The Engineering Review Division supports safe community growth by overseeing engineering plans for development permits. The Division reviews:
- Site plans for clearing, grading, paving, and stormwater management
- Right-of-way permits for street work and utility access
- Haul permits for moving heavy equipment or materials
- Traffic control plans for construction requiring lane closures and detours
The Division also works with the Public Works Department to oversee work in the right-of-way.
