Review City Council directions and actions from September 8, 2026.
The following meeting minutes were approved:
Agenda Bill #7003; A Resolution #26-010 authorizing the City Council to formally reject all bids for the construction contract of the Airport Station Area Pedestrian Improvements project (Public Works Project ST-141) was passed and became effective September 22, 2026.
Agenda Bill #6997; A Motion confirming appointments to the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority (SSRTA) Board of Directors was referred to a Planning & Economic Development Committee meeting to be held before the October 13, 2026 Regular Council Meeting so this item can be reviewed again at the October 13, 2026 Regular Council Meeting.
Agenda Bill #6998; A Motion approving the amended 2026 budget for the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority (SSRTA) was carried and became effective September 22, 2026.
Agenda Bill #6999; A Motion approving the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority (SSRTA) 2027 and 2028 Budgets was referred to a Planning & Economic Development Committee meeting to coincide with the review of Agenda Bill #6997.
Agenda Bill #6964; A Motion directing staff to prepare an Ordinance to reconcile pre-paid services in the amount of $103,110, negotiate a new Agreement with the YMCA, explore options related to sub-leasing and city performance of ground maintenance and return to Council for review and discussion was carried and became effective September 22, 2026.
