Port of Seattle Stakeholder Advisory Roundtable (StART)

Since 2018, the Port of Seattle SeaTac Airport Staff has used this group to work together with Burien, Des Moines, Federal Way, Normandy Park, Tukwila and our city. Learn about its meetings, membership, and how to get involved.

  • Number of members: 2

This is not a SeaTac committee. However, the mayor appoints members representing our city, and the Council confirms them.

Other members include:

  • Community members and staff from each city
  • Representatives from airlines, air cargo, and the Port 

The Federal Aviation Administration provides agency expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Share information, community concerns and, feedback on the airport’s construction projects, programs, and operations
  • Discuss airport activities
  • Inform decisions
  • Increase knowledge about both the airport and cities
