Adopt a street or trail

Want to help clean up our community? Adopting a street or trail is a great way to participate and get recognized!

Help keep our streets and trails litter-free

The Adopt-A-Street/Trail program gives residents, local businesses, and organizations an opportunity to beautify our City by picking up litter along streets and trails.

Removing litter makes our community safer and better-looking. It also prevents pollution from entering our drainage system, lake, or waterways.

What it means to “adopt” a street or trail

By adopting a street or trail, you agree to clean up litter four times a year in that area.

We’ll provide:

  • Litter pickers
  • Gloves
  • Safety vests
  • Garbage bags

We’ll also keep track of all the amazing work you do to keep your street or trail litter-free! Plus, after two cleanups, we’ll put up a sign recognizing your work.
