What we do

At the SeaTac Senior Program, we bring people together through recreation, lifelong learning, and community support. Our center is a welcoming space where older adults can build friendships, explore new interests, and enjoy meaningful experiences together. Our programs support healthy aging and we offer many ways to get involved—drop-in games, classes, events, trips, volunteer opportunities, and more. We also provide a variety of services to help you navigate the unique challenges that accompany aging.

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

How to participate

Membership

Our program is open to all seniors 55 and older who reside in SeaTac and surrounding communities. We do not have membership fees and most of our programs are free of charge. Certain activities, such as trips, do require a fee.

Registration

Fill out our general registration form online or in person. To register for a specific activity, call the Community Center at 206-973-4680.

Newcomers social – first Fridays

We understand that starting something new can be a little nerve-wracking, so we offer a monthly Newcomer’s Social Hour. Join us on the first Friday of each month from 10 – 11 a.m. in the Senior Lobby of the Community Center. It’s a great opportunity to learn about us, meet other seniors and staff, and take that first step to participation. No need to register in advance, just show up and we’ll take care of the rest.

Congregate lunch

We serve lunch Tuesday through Friday at the SeaTac Community Center. Please arrive by 11:30 a.m. to check in and be seated. We do not offer takeout meals.

  • Age 60+: Free will donation (we suggest $5)
  • Under 60: $7 (required)

Transportation

For SeaTac residents only, we provide free transportation to and from the Community Center on days we have lunch.

Resources and services

We provide non-recreational services such as legal assistance, Medicare counseling, foot care, and massage by appointment. We are also happy to provide information and referrals to other senior service organizations. For more information on these resources, please visit our senior resources page.

Publications

You can find more information about our current activities in the quarterly Recreation & Services Guide and our bi-monthly newsletter, The SeaTac Senior Flyer.

Donations

Your donation to the SeaTac Senior Program Fund directly supports the programs and resources we provide to seniors in our community. The Renton Regional Community Foundation manages donated funds and ensures that they are restricted for the use of the Senior Program.
