Engineering Deviation

This application is for any engineering deviation from the city’s engineering standards or other city adopted codes and regulations.

The following documentation must be submitted when applying for an Engineering Deviation:

Design Criteria Analysis and Response. Include:

• A complete report to address how the proposed application will meet the decision criteria, including the standard or code impacted
• Detailed explanation of a modification from Code standard, if proposed
• All plans, documents, reports, etc. signed and sealed by a Washington State Professional Engineer

Traffic control plan, if working in the right of way

Site Plan. Include:

• Property lines
• All buildings on the property
• Distances from building(s) to property line
• North arrow
• Distances between buildings
• Distance from building to right of way line
• Adjoining streets
• Show all utilities (above and underground)

Survey (unless already incorporated into the site plan)
