Residential street hauling restrictions

We put restrictions on heavy trucks driving through certain City streets. See which weight limits apply to neighborhood roads and busy connecting streets.

Truck traffic restrictions

Under SeaTac Municipal Code Chapter 9.40, construction and commercial trucks aren’t allowed to drive through certain City streets unless they’re actively making a delivery, pickup, or service stop in the area.

These restrictions apply to:

  • Neighborhood (residential) streets: For trucks with a maximum weight limit over 20,000 lbs.
  • Arterial collector streets (busy connection streets): For trucks with a maximum weight limit over 30,000 lbs.
