Under The City's 2025 - 2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), the South 152nd Street Improvements Project is Priority 8.

Estimated project costs are $17,600,000.00, and design is planned for 2029, with construction start 2029/30.

The South 152nd Street Improvements Project (ST-126), from 30th Avenue South to Military Road South, will reconstruct existing roadway and construct sidewalks, bicycle lanes/shared lanes, storm drainage, and on-street parking (where feasible).

This project will provide access and circulation improvements for vehicle and pedestrian movements in support of redevelopment.  Also, this project will install a traffic signal at the intersection of 32nd Avenue South and South 152nd Street (conditioned on realignment of SR 518 Westbound off-ramp to South 154th Street by WSDOT).
