NEXT SESSION BEGINS SPRING 2020
March 4, 2020 - May 20, 2020
The SeaTac and Burien Police, in partnership with the King County Sheriff's Office, invite community members , 18 and older, to a twelve week course designed to increase the understanding between residents and their police departments through public education. Participation is limited to those community members who live or work in either SeaTac or Burien. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
Graduates of the Community Police Academy gain a better understanding of the criminal justice system and an appreciation for the many challenges facing law enforcement in today's society. This knowledge will help community members better assist officers and increase safety in their neighborhoods.
The next session is scheduled for Fall 2019. If you wish to pre-register for this session, please download an application or pick up an application at either the SeaTac or Burien Police Departments. Please return your completed application to CSO Sana Wight at SeaTac Police, 4800 S 188th St., SeaTac, WA 98188.
