Please note that we are offering Theatre in the Park performances at two locations.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.  For performances at Angle Lake Park, additional parking is available at Alaska Airlines which is located just north of the park.  Performances are free.

After a shipwreck separates Viola from her twin brother, so begins a whirlwind of mistaken identities and unrequited love on the coast of Illyria.  Ever resourceful, Viola disguises herself, sets out to conquer this strange land, and starts serving as a go-between for two lovesick households.  When she falls in love with her employer, Viola gets caught up in a romantic knot that she must untangle.  Just when things stretch to the brink of bedlam, her twin appears and the puzzle pieces come together.

Burien Actors Theatre is presenting a production transporting Oscar Wilde's wonderfully witty masterpiece, The Importance of Being Earnest, from Victorian London in the 1890's to Seattle in the 1980s.  Both time periods saw big changes in politics, women's rights and fashion.  This will be a one-act version of the play.
