The following Council direction was given at the July 28, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

 

Refer to August 11, 2026 Council Study Session

  • Council Request Forms (CRFs) and biennial budget preview

  • A contract amendment for continuing security at the FIFA activation sites with a not to exceed dollar amount 
  • A resolution memorializing the Council’s direction from their July 14 Council Study Session (CSS) on the proposed options and sequential schedule for International Village

 

 

The following Council actions were taken at the July 28, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Approved: Grant Application - King County (KC) Minor Home Repair - $150,000 (26-G022)

Administration & Finance Committee meeting held February 5, 2026
Parks & Recreation Committee meetings held May 14 and June 11, 2026
Council Study Session held July 14, 2026
Regular Council Meeting held July 14, 2026

 

Agenda Bill #6946; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute Interlocal Agreements with Highline Water District, Midway Sewer District, and Puget Sound Energy for the Airport Station Area Pedestrian Improvements Project (SeaTac CIP No. ST-141) was carried and became effective July 28, 2026.

 

Agenda Bill #6951; An Ordinance #26-1018 authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with the State of Washington for State Fiscal Year 2027 Washington Migrant and Asylum-Seeker Support (WAMASS) program funding; authorizing the distribution of program funds through agreements with Congolese International Network (CIN) and participating hotels; the extension of the Human Services Coordinator Temporary Limited Term (TLT) position; and amending the 2025–2026 biennial budget, and directing the City Manager to engage the state regarding additional administrative funding or further reductions to required outcomes and scope, FAILED.
