The following Council direction was given at the June 23, 2026 Special Council Study Session:

Refer to the July 14, 2026 Regular Council Meeting as an Action Item:
Agenda Bill #6934; A Resolution incorporating the results of community engagement into the theme for International Village.

 

The following Council direction was given at the June 23, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Council concurred to have the Mayor sign a three-city letter to the Port Commissioners regarding the SAMP.

                       

The following Council actions were taken at the June 23, 2026 Regular Council Meeting: 

Modesto Alvarez was appointed to the Hotel/Motel Tax Advisory Committee (HMAC).

Approved: Grant Acceptance for the Washington Migrant and Asylum-Seeker - ORIA - $500,000 (26-G015).

Regular Council Meeting held June 9, 2026

Agenda Bill #6926; A Resolution #26-007 approving the 2027 South King County Housing and Homelessness Partners (SKHHP) Workplan and Budget was passed and became effective June 23, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6860; A Motion declaring City Property surplus and authorizing its disposal was carried and became effective June 23, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6844; A Resolution #26-008 adopting the 2027 - 2032 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) was passed and became effective June 23, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6936; An Ordinance extending the Moratorium on Detention Facilities for six months was referred to the July 14, 2026 Regular Council Meeting Consent Agenda.

Agenda Bill #6930; An Ordinance #26-1014 amending expenditures in the 2025-2026 Biennial Budget for additional consultant and outside legal support related to amending the City of SeaTac’s Business and Occupation Tax and exploring potential Revenue Tools was adopted June 23, 2026 and becomes effective July 4, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6924; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to sign an AIA contract with LMN Architects LLP substantially in the form attached was carried and became effective June 23, 2026.
