Revised 5/18/26 to correct Council direction related to 2027-2028 Macro Budget Workshop.

The following Council direction was given at the May 12, 2026 Council Study Session:

The following Council direction was given at the May 12, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Refer to Administration & Finance Committee

  • Review possible ballot measures and, if appropriate, formulate appropriate ballot language for Council consideration and adoption via Resolution 
  • Consideration of terms and conditions of a second floor lease agreement with Congolese Integration Network  
  • Ordinance for new sales and use tax regarding Youth Services and Workforce Development

Easement between the City and the Port of Seattle to cross the Lakes to Sound Trail Segment C to allow access to a Port owned property.

Agenda Bill #6835; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Fehr & Peers to provide professional engineering services for the International Boulevard Vulnerable User Safety Demonstration Project was carried and became effective May 12, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6770; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a second amendment to the design contract with Psomas Inc. for the 34th Avenue South Phase 2 Project (Public Works CIP ST-016) was carried and became effective May 12, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6906; An Ordinance #26-1010 authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Alpha Security Services for Angle Lake Park and amending the 2025-2026 Biennial Budget was adopted May 12, 2026 and becomes effective May 23, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6792; An Ordinance #26-1011 adopting and amending SMC sections related to Regional Business Mix (RBX) and Industrial (I) zoning code regulations was adopted May 12, 2026 and becomes effective May 23, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6911; A Resolution #26-005 directing the City to explore the incorporation of a market hall and revenue generating parking into the first phase of development of the proposed City Hall, Civic Plaza, and associated parking at the SeaTac Civic Campus (International Village) was passed and became effective May 12, 2026.

A Motion authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Settlement Agreement with the Port of Seattle related to airport employee and airport tenant parking in SeaTac was carried and became effective May 12, 2026.
