The following Council direction was given at the April 14, 2026 Council Study Session:

2026 Washington State Legislative Session Overview
Council direction/consensus: express gratitude, implement, plan and educate on passed bills

International Village (Civic Campus) (discussion continued to the RCM and direction was given at the RCM)
Council direction/consensus: explore revenue generating parking (Option #5) in the Civic Campus planning and master plan work and bring forward a Resolution for discussion

Police Chief Candidates Introductions
Council direction/consensus: Information only.

 

The following Council direction was given at the April 14, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Refer to Administration & Finance Committee
Creation of a policy / process for congressional support (e.g., Adam Smith) along with event sponsorship

Macro Budget Workshop

 

The following Council actions were taken at the April 14, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Naomie Chamberlain was appointed to the Hotel/Motel Tax Advisory Committee.

The following meeting minutes were approved:
Parks & Recreation Committee meeting held February 3, 2026
Transportation & Public Works Committee meeting held February 26, 2026
Regular Council Meeting held March 24, 2026

Agenda Bill #6891; A Resolution #26-003 creating an Ad Hoc City Council subcommittee and authorizing the City Manager to initiate negotiations with the Port of Seattle on a new Interlocal Agreement was passed and became effective April 14, 2026.
