The following Council direction was given at the March 24, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Whether to accept federal funding and serve as fiscal agent on behalf of East African Community Services (EACS) - U.S. Representative Adam Smith proposal.
Council direction/consensus: Move forward with the process subject to mutually agreeable terms.

 

The following Council actions were taken at the March 24, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

The following members were appointed:
Anahi Toledo Salgado to the Arts, Culture & Library Advisory Committee.
Sarah Postel, Luis Escamilla, and Thien-Nhi Vo Nguyen to the to the Community Services Advisory Committee
Biruk Belay, Jeffrey Guite, and Savio Pham to the Planning Commission
Gina Smith to the Senior Citizen Advisory Committee.

Regular Council Meeting held March 10, 2026

Agenda Bill #6804; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with CWA Consultants, P.S. for structural and non-structural plan review was carried and became effective March 24, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6850; An Ordinance #26-1005 amending development regulations in the SeaTac Municipal Code, Title 15, related to 23-hour Crisis Relief Centers was adopted March 24, 2026 and becomes effective April 4, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6854; An Ordinance #26-1006 amending the City's 2025-2026 Biennial Budget was adopted March 24, 2026 and becomes effective April 4, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6803; An Ordinance #26-1007 granting a Franchise Utility Agreement with Ezee Fiber for telecommunication services failed.

Agenda Bill #6884; An Ordinance #26-1008 amending the 2025-2026 Biennial Budget to include $1,225,000 in expenditures from the Facility Construction CIP Fund 306 was adopted March 24, 2026 and becomes effective April 4, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6891; A Resolution creating an Ad Hoc City Council subcommittee and authorizing the City Manager to initiate negotiations with the Port of Seattle on a new Interlocal Agreement was referred to the April 14, 2026 Regular Council Meeting for action.
