March 10, 2026 Council Actions

The following Council direction was given at the March 10, 2026 Council Study Session:

2025 Fourth Quarter Statistics
Council direction/consensus. Confirmed alignment on:  

  1. City Manager’s proposed 21-point safety plan;
  2. Addressing short-term park safety concerns through upcoming referral to Parks & Recreation Committee and,
  3. Addressing long-term park safety concerns through upcoming referral to PS&J for possible inclusion in a Community Safety Strategic Plan.

 

The following Council direction was given at the March 10, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Refer to Administration & Finance Committee.
2026-06 – Advisory Committees, Commissions and Boards Review (including 2026-04 - Arts, Culture & Library Advisory Committee (ACLAC) Activation)
2026-05 – Youth Emerging Leaders Fellowship Pilot
2026-07 – Centralized Contract Management System Options include:

Refer to Parks & Recreation Committee
Short-term park safety concerns

Refer to Planning & Economic Development Committee.
2026-09 – Evaluate Hotel Motel Advisory Committee (HMAC) Policies and Award Protocols.

Refer to Public Safety & Justice Committee
Long-term park safety concerns

Refer to Transportation & Public Works Committee
Parking and right-of-way (ROW) use, including 208th Street Parking

Refer to Regular Council Meeting
Port of Seattle (POS) Interlocal Agreement (ILA) review

Plan and prepare a workplan for community outreach and engagement and return the same to full Council by August 2026.
2026-10 – Evaluate the Triangle Parking Lot (Intl. Blvd. | S. 152nd St.)

 

The following Council actions were taken at the March 10, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Agenda Bill #6829; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Contract Amendment in the amount of $153,300 with Mott MacDonald LLC for Construction Contract Administration Services for the Angle Lake Park Fishing Pier & Boat Ramp replacement was carried and became effective March 10, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6851; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute the 2026 SeaTac Farmers Market Pilot 3.0 Contract was carried and became effective March 10, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6849; A Motion approving the City's 2026 Federal Legislative Agenda was carried and became effective March 10, 2026.
