The following Council direction was given at the February 24, 2026 Regular Council Meeting: 

• CRF 2026-01: Recording Council Committee Meetings

  City Manager to scope a plan to identify costs and resources needed to begin recording, posting and archiving all committee meetings. 

• CRF 2026-02: Request for City Council briefing on Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (PSRFA) Contract

  Referred PSRFA and King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) contracts to a Council Study Session (CSS). 

• Safety issues, including parks safety

  Referred to CSS. 

• YMCA Contract review
  Refer to Administration & Finance (A&F) Committee.

The following Council actions were taken at the February 24, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Roger Kadeg was re-appointed to the Port of Seattle (POS) Stakeholder Advisory Roundtable (StART).

Will Booth was appointed to the POS StART.

Byron Pihuave was re-appointed to the Hotel/Motel Tax Advisory Committee (HMAC).

Approved: Final Acceptance of public works projects: 34th Avenue South - $5,994,882

Approved: Summary of Contracts over $150,000 and approved by Council Standing Committee for the period ended February 19, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6807; A Resolution #26-001 approving the City of SeaTac’s 2026 Human Services Strategic Plan (HSSP), establishing the City’s priorities, goals, and framework for delivering equitable, responsive, and community-informed human services was passed and became effective February 24, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6862; A Resolution #26-002 affirming the City of SeaTac is a Welcoming City and providing Policy Direction to support Community Safety, Dignity, and Lawful City Operations was passed and became effective February 24, 2026.
