February 10, 2026 Council Actions

The following Council direction was given at the February 10, 2026 Council Study Session:

Exclusive Park Rental Pilot Options.
Council consensus/direction: Confirmation of essential and optional terms for exclusive park rental pilot program, Staff to work with the Parks & Recreation (P&R) Committee to develop a standard use agreement.

Council Request Form (CRF) Process.
Council consensus/direction: Confirmation of alignment on CRF Process refinements and direction on elements of a visualization tool to display CRF’s at a glance.

 

The following Council direction was given at the February 10, 2026 Regular Council Meeting:

Federal Immigration Enforcement

  • Resolution: have staff prepare a draft Resolution for future action
  • Workplan: agree with proposed workplan items
  • Detention Facilities: Ordinance #26-1004 adopted (see below)
  • FLOCK MOU | SOP: Option 3: rescind all outside access until state legislation is approved.

Agenda Bill #6823; An Ordinance #26-1002 adopting amendments to the Mobile Food Vendors Code (Chapter 5.55 SMC) and Mobile Food Vending Code (SMC 15.415.300) was adopted February 10, 2026 and becomes effective February 21, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6296; An Ordinance #26-1003 amending development regulations in SeaTac Municipal Code related to code compliance by repealing Chapter 1.15 and adding Title 10 and Chapter 10.05 was adopted February 10, 2026 and becomes effective March 1, 2026.

Agenda Bill #6842; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute the FIFA Duration Advertisement of SeaTac – Station Domination Contract was carried and became effective February 10, 2026.

An Ordinance #26-1004 enacting a Moratorium on the change of use, establishment, or development of facilities for the detention, transportation, and food services for people detained by local, state, or federal law enforcement; setting a public hearing; declaring an emergency; and establishing an effective date was adopted and became effective February 10, 2026.
