The following Council direction was given at the August 12, 2025 Regular Council Meeting:

City Manager to move forward with recruiting the following positions: Communications Manager, Human Resources Leader, Public Works Director, City Attorney, and one Deputy City Manager. City Manager to come back to a future meeting with additional information about recruiting a second Deputy City Manager.

Agenda Bill #6727; A Resolution #25-012 authorizing the City Manager to Pursue Debt Financing for the Purchase of Land for a Civic Campus was passed and became effective August 12, 2025.

Agenda Bill #6740; An Ordinance #25-1016 amending Chapter 2.03 to the SeaTac Municipal Code related to Risk Management to appoint additional agents to receive claims for damages and service of process was adopted August 12, 2025 and becomes effective August 23, 2025.
