The following Council direction was given at the May 13, 2025 Council Study Session: 

Human Services Strategic Plan Report Findings.
Council direction:
Conduct a Gap analysis of surrounding HS providers,
Develop options for an equitable development strategy for anti-displacement and home ownership,
Return with proposed HS Strategic Plan that incorporates SMART goals

 

The following Council direction was given at the May 13, 2025 Regular Council Meeting:

  •  Civic Campus Update on community engagement strategy, site feasibility and investigation work, and a recommended update to the site selection criteria.

The following Council actions were taken at the May 13, 2025 Regular Council Meeting:

Tricia Neilsen and Josef Serpe were appointed to the Arts, Culture & Library Advisory Committee.
Caitlin Konya was re-appointed to the Community Services Advisory Committee.
Luanne Coachman was appointed to the Hotel/Motel Tax Advisory Committee.
Damiana Merryweather and Karin Ellis were re-appointed, and Andrew Barker was appointed to the Planning Commission.

Approved: Final Acceptance of 2024 Overlay Project - $961,631.82.

The following meeting minutes were approved:
Transportation & Public Works Committee meeting held March 27, 2025
Public Safety & Justice Committee meeting held February 27, 2025
Special Council Study Session held April 22, 2025
Regular Council Meeting held April 22, 2025

Agenda Bill #6684; An Ordinance #25-1007 authorizing the City Manager to sign a contract amendment with the State of Washington for additional funding for the Washington Migrant and Asylum-Seeker Support (WA MASS) program and amending the 2025-2026 Biennial Budget was adopted May 13, 2025 and becomes effective May 24, 2025.
