The following Council direction was given at the November 19, 2024 Council Study Session:

Review and adoption of the functional program for the Civic Campus Project.
Council consensus / direction: incorporate this into the feasibility report.

Agenda Bill #6450; An Ordinance adopting amendments to the SeaTac Comprehensive Plan, including the Transportation Master Plan, Title 15 and other titles of the SeaTac Municipal Code, and the SeaTac Zoning Map, in response to periodic update requirements of the Growth Management Act and state legislation.
Council direction/consensus: postponed to the November 26, 2024 Special Council Study Session refer to the December 10, 2024 Regular Council Meeting as an Action Item

  • 4-City ILA supporting a consultant contract for commenting on the POS SAMP.
  • CR2024-12 regarding an EV Charging Infrastructure Pilot Program on the Triangle Property

Approved: Grant Acceptance for the Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority - $300,000 (24-G022).

Agenda Bill #6530; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services contract for Federal Lobbying with Gordon Thomas Honeywell was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6526; A Motion approving an extension of the State Legislative Contract with Gordon Thomas Honeywell was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6540; A Motion approving the 2024 amended budget for the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority (SSRTA) was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6541; A Motion approving the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority (SSRTA) 2025 Budget was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6542; A Motion approving the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority (SSRTA) 2026 Budget was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6509; A Resolution #24-013 amending the City of SeaTac Schedule of License Fees, Permit Fees, Other Fees and Charges for City Services was passed November 19, 2024 and becomes effective January 1, 2025.

Agenda Bill #6354; An Ordinance authorizing the City's 2025 Property Tax Levy was continued to the November 26, 2024 Regular Council Meeting.

Agenda Bill #6355; An Ordinance adopting the City's 2025-2026 Biennial Budget was referred to a Budget Workshop (date to be determined).

Agenda Bill #6503; A Motion approving the City's 2025 Legislative Agenda was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6523; A Motion authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute the 2025-2029 StormFest Interlocal Agreement (ILA) was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6543; A Motion authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute two SeaTac Small Business Capital Access Program (SBCAP) contracts to provide small business outreach, technical assistance, increased access to capital, and stipend grants to SeaTac businesses was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6548; A Motion accepting the investigation report concerning allegations of misconduct of the Interim City Manager and not to take any action against the Interim City Manager was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.

A Motion authorizing the Mayor, another Councilmember, and Senior Assistant City Attorney to negotiate a contract with Jonathan Young to be the City Manager and bring it back to the full Council for consideration at the December 10, 2024 Regular Council Meeting was carried and became effective November 19, 2024.
