The following Council direction was given at the September 24, 2024 Special Council Study Session:

The following Council actions were taken at the September 24, 2024 Regular Council Meeting:

Approved: Grant Acceptance for the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) - $1,660,000 (24-G002).

Agenda Bill #6378; A Motion authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute an amendment to the design contract with KPG Psomas Inc. for the 34th Avenue South Phase 2 Project (Public Works CIP ST-016) was carried and became effective September 24, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6353; An Ordinance #24-1016 amending the City's 2023-2024 Biennial Budget was adopted September 24, 2024 and becomes effective October 5, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6388; An Ordinance #24-1017 granting a franchise agreement with Seattle SMSA Limited Partnership (d/b/a Verizon Wireless, or “Verizon”) for wireless telecommunication services was adopted September 24, 2024 and becomes effective October 5, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6495; A Motion authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute an aerial easement by the City of SeaTac (Grantor) to the Port of Seattle (Grantee) to construct and operate two sign bridges over South 188th Street to stop travel through the South 188th Street tunnel in the event of an emergency was carried and became effective September 24, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6491; An Ordinance #24-1018 amending the 2023-2024 Biennial Budget to provide additional funding for the advancement of the SeaTac Civic Campus Project and authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute a Phase 2 contract with JLL, the City's owner representative, as well as on-call contracts as needed to provide services in support of site acquisition, community outreach, financial planning and bond counsel was adopted September 24, 2024 and becomes effective October 5, 2024.
