The following Council direction was given at the July 23, 2024 Regular Council Meeting (RCM):

Scheduled Special Council Study Sessions prior to the 4th Tuesday RCMs for the remainder of the year.

 

The following Council actions were taken at the July 23, 2024 RCM:

Approved: Grant Acceptance for the Administrative Office of the Courts - $296,000 (24-G015).

Agenda Bill #6463; A Resolution #24-010 authorizing the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the Multi-Family Tax Exemption Agreement with Adara at SeaTac, LLC related to the proposed building at the Adara at SeaTac site was passed and became effective July 23, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6468; An Ordinance #24-1012 amending Chapter 5.15 of the SeaTac Municipal Code adopting by reference Chapter 6.65 of the King County Code relating to the regulation of For-Hire Transportation Network Companies, Vehicles and Drivers; and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between the City of SeaTac and King County related to for-hire transportation regulatory services, which replaces the 1998 (Agreement #97-A120) was adopted July 23, 2024 and becomes effective August 3, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6478; A Resolution #24-011 reaffirming Council action on April 23, 2024, authorizing the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Flock Group INC. for the Flock Safety System was passed and became effective July 23, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6489; An Emergency Ordinance #24-1013 allowing staff to hire four additional guards and amend the 2023-2024 Biennial Budget was adopted and became effective July 23, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6456; An Ordinance #24-1014 providing for the acquisition, condemnation, appropriation, and taking of temporary and permanent real property rights in order to construct the Airport Station Area Pedestrian Improvements Project (Public Works CIP ST-141) was adopted July 23, 2024 and becomes effective August 3, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6358; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Professional Services Contract Amendment in the amount of $261,100 with MxM Landscape Architects for Improvements to Riverton Heights Park was carried and became effective July 23, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6465; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services contract amendment for $109,900 with Mott MacDonald Engineering for fishing pier and boat ramp renovations at Angle Lake Park was carried and became effective July 23, 2024.

Agenda Bill #6121; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute three of the five related contracts with local organizations to implement the SeaTac Small Business Capital Access Program (SBCAP), which will provide small business outreach, technical assistance, increased access to capital, and stipend grants to SeaTac businesses was carried and became effective July 23, 2024.
