There was no Allied Waste garbage, recycling or yard waste service in SeaTac on Thursday, March 29 due to Allied Waste/Republic Services’ union honoring a picket line based on a non-local incident occurring in Alabama.

Allied Waste Services has announced that they are now running normal operations again.  If your service was missed, please see the following message from Allied Waste regarding a Saturday, March 31, collection option for those Thursday customers:

“We regret that we were unable to service you yesterday. Please put out your carts tomorrow (Saturday) for pick up or you may also put it out with up to double the load on your next regularly scheduled collection day, free of charge. Thank you again for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience”.

If you subscribe to yard debris curbside service with Allied Waste, both the Saturday, March 31, and the next scheduled service date for you on Thursday, April 5, will include the yard debris pick up. Yard debris service missed on March 29, will be picked up either on March 31 or April 5.
