The following Council direction was given at the April 12, 2022 Regular Council Meeting:

Refer to Administration & Finance Committee

  • Ordinance appointing additional agents to receive claims.
  • Amend SMC 3.40. – adding a special revenue fund for Police restricted revenue and a Section 125 Funding Deposit Account.

 Refer to Transportation & Public Works Committee

  • Commute Trip Reduction Program
  • Clean Sweep SeaTac Program
  • Council Request Form (CRF) 2022-06 (memorial)
  • Debris Management Services

 Refer to Council Study Session

  • A presentation and discussion on the current state of the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) awarded to SeaTac under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
  • CRF 2022-05 (efficiency in passing legislation)

 

The following Council actions were taken at the April 12, 2022 Regular Council Meeting:

Charrise Oden and Christine Bertie were re-appointed, and Harmony Grace was appointed as a youth alternate member to the Community Services Advisory Committee.

Teresa Cicrich-Powell was appointed to the Senior Citizen Advisory Committee.

David Korthals was re-appointed to the Sidewalk Advisory Committee.

Approval of Summary of Grant Acceptance for the period ended November 28, 2020.

Agenda Bill #5933; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with DKS for a fleet electrification study was carried and became effective April 12, 2022.

Agenda Bill #5905; A Motion adopting the SeaTac Local Road Safety Plan was carried and became effective April 12, 2022.

Agenda Bill #5883; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services contract in the amount of $275,000 with Mott Macdonald Engineering for architectural and engineering services for the Angle Lake Fishing Pier and Boat Ramp Refurbishment was carried and became effective April 12, 2022.

Agenda Bill #5937; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to an existing Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with King County to reflect an additional $1,105,000 Conservation Futures Tax Levy grant used to acquire property from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) to expand Des Moines Creek Park was carried and became effective April 12, 2022.
