The following Council direction was given at the March 8, 2022 Council Study Session: 

Move forward to Administration & Finance (A&F) Committee:

  • Community Outreach position.
  • RFP for the Repair and Expansion of the SeaTac Maintenance Facility.

The following Council direction was given at the March 8, 2022 Regular Council Meeting:

The following Council actions were taken at the March 8, 2022 Regular Council Meeting:

Approval of Summary of Grant Acceptance for the period ended March 4, 2022

Approved: Washington Recreation and Park Association SEEK 2022 Grant

$55,140.

Agenda Bill #5882; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with the City of Tukwila for on-call code inspection services was carried and became effective March 8, 2022.

Agenda Bill #5909; An Ordinance #22-1001 vacating portions of right-of-way near the intersection of 13th Avenue South and South 200th Street was adopted March 8, 2022 and becomes effective upon receipt of the compensation required by Section 3 of this Ordinance, but in no event sooner than 30 days after passage.

Agenda Bill #5860; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Bruce Dees and Associates, LLC to design the Des Moines Creek Park trailhead, passive park and tree restoration plan was carried and became effective March 8, 2022.

Agenda Bill #5913; A Resolution #22-005 not ratifying the 2021 King County (KC) Countywide Planning Policies (CPP) was passed and became effective March 8, 2022.

Agenda Bill #5916; A Motion adding the River Ridge Elementary Sidewalk Project to the 2022 capital improvement plan and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with the Kent School District to partner on the Project was carried and became effective March 8, 2022.
