The following Council actions were taken at the May 10, 2011 Regular Council Meeting:

 

Summary of $5,000 - $35,000 Purchase Requests for the period ended May 6, 2011

Passed: Mosquito Larvacide Application - $20,000

 

The following Council Meeting Minutes were approved:

Land Use and Parks Committee Meeting held April 26.

Regular Council Meeting held April 26.

 

Agenda Bill #3325; Motion approving the low bidder for the re-roofing of the SeaTac Community (STCC) Center was removed from the agenda prior to the meeting to be presented at the May 24 Regular Council Meeting.

 

Agenda Bill #3327; Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease addendum and two-year extension with MoneyTree in the SeaTac Center was carried and became effective May 10, 2011. 

Agenda Bill #3323; Motion declaring vehicles and miscellaneous equipment to be surplus, approving same to be sold at public auction, and authorizing purchase expenditures was carried and became effective May 10, 2011. 

Agenda Bill #3333; Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a service agreement for International Boulevard (IB) emergency subgrade repair was carried and became effective May 10, 2011. 

Agenda Bill #3315; Ordinance #11-1008 creating a new Section 8.05.700 of the SeaTac Municipal Code (SMC) related to Crimes and Offenses was adopted May 10, 2011 and becomes effective May 21, 2011. 

Agenda Bill #3319; Resolution #11-001 authorizing the execution of the 2010-2012 collective bargaining agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Local #2919 was passed and became effective May 10, 2011.

Agenda Bill #3328; Motion accepting the Riverton Heights Public Engagement Final Report and directing staff to develop a Request for Purchase (RFP) Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to hire a consultant to refine plans for the Riverton Heights Site failed.  (The subject matter will be discussed at the June 10-11 Council Retreat.)
