February 14, 2017 Regular Council Meeting Council Actions

The Council actions have been revised to include council direction given at the Council Study Session.

The following Council direction was given at the February 14, 2017 Council Study Session:

Staff to apply:
2018 Community Development Block Grant to secure funding for designing and constructing a "Pump Track" at North SeaTac Park.

2017 vehicle and equipment purchase and surplus

The following Council actions were taken at the February 14, 2017 Regular Council Meeting:

Pamela Pollock was appointed to the Planning Commission (PC)

Judith Williams was appointed to the Human Services Advisory Committee (HSAC)

Pre-approval or final approval of City Council and City Manager travel related expenses for the period ended February 7, 2017.

Agenda Bill #4557; A Resolution 17-001 initiating the process for vacating a portion of 28th Avenue South right-of-way generally between the 20100 block and International Boulevard South, and fixing the time for a public hearing was passed and became effective February 14, 2017.

Agenda Bill #4549; A Resolution #17-002 authorizing a settlement of a Complaint to Quiet Title in King County Superior Court between the City and Vicart, L.L.C. was passed and became effective February 14, 2017.

Agenda Bill #4507; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with the Washington State Department of Commerce for the SeaTac International Marketplace was carried and became effective February 14, 2017.

Agenda Bill #4520; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Top to Bottom Janitorial for custodial work at City facilities, was carried, as amended to revise the contract end date to December 31, 2017, and became effective February 14, 2017.

Agenda Bill #4471; An Ordinance #17-1006 adding a new Section 2.45.156 to the SeaTac Municipal Code related to certain boating regulations on Angle Lake for public safety training purposes failed.
