The following Council actions were taken at the January 26, 2016 Regular Council Meeting:

Agenda Bill #4196; A Resolution #16-006 fixing the date and time for a Public Hearing on the proposed vacation of an easement for public right-of-way on Tax Parcel 384260-0170 was passed and became effective January 26, 2016.

Agenda Bill #4204; An Ordinance #16-1001 acknowledging the merger of tw telecom Inc. and WilTel Communications Group, LLC with Level 3 Communications, Inc. and approving the resulting indirect change of control of the tw telecom of Washington LLC, telecommunications franchise with conditions was adopted January 26, 2016 and becomes effective February 6, 2016.

Agenda Bill #4209; A Resolution #16-007 confirming the appointment by the City Manager of Stephen K. Causseaux, Jr. as the City Hearing Examiner, providing for appointment of a Hearing Examiner Pro-Tem, and authorizing the City Manager to enter into contracts for Hearing Examiner services was passed and became effective January 26, 2016.

Agenda Bill #4234; A Motion authorizing the Mayor to execute an employment agreement with Interim City Manager Donny Payne was carried and became effective January 26, 2016.
