Good Neighbor Award

Good Neighbor Award

Post Date:06/09/2015

In honor of National Good Neighbor Day, the City of SeaTac has launched a citywide recognition program.  The Good Neighbor Award gives community members the opportunity to recognize other individuals for their acts of goodness and call attention in a positive way to the benefits of being a good neighbor.  Community members are nominated by their peers and the award recipients will be chosen from those submissions.

The 2015 Good Neighbor Award is restricted to actions from January 2014 through July 2015.  Nominations will be accepted through July 2015, and the award winners will be announced at the 2015 SeaTac International Festival held at Angle Lake Park on Sept. 12-13.  The recognition program will have one Good Neighbor Award and three honorable mentions;  all nominees will be recognized.

Nomination guidelines and forms are available online through the Public Works Department webpage, by clicking below, or by contacting Resource Conservation/Neighborhood Programs Coordinator Trudy Olson at 206.973.4763.  The forms are also available at City Hall third floor permit counter area and the Community Center.
