City of SeaTac, Wash. January 1, 2012 – At approximately 2:40 this morning a family was awakened by the smell of smoke. On further investigation a fire was found in the kitchen. Residents worked briefly to control the fire but ultimately were unsuccessful. All residents were able to escape the home unharmed.
