The Community Services Advisory Committee, formerly the Human Services Advisory Committee, acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council with the following purposes: make reports and recommendations to the City Council concerning community service issues, bring committee members, leaders and businesses to address issues related to community service, review City actions which may affect the accessibility or quality of community services available to City residents, seek volunteers who are interested in performing service in our community, evaluate funding requests and make recommendations on funding human service agencies and organizations, help volunteers find projects in which that can serve the community, connect volunteers with agencies or groups who conduct community service projects in the City, connect agencies or groups with service projects in our community, address other community service issues as deemed approximate by the Committee, review and recommend community service plans and policies, including the human service element of the City’s comprehensive plan, and participate in collaborative planning efforts involving citizen groups, human service agencies and local organizations.

This meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format with in-person and remote options for public participation. The meeting will be broadcast on SeaTV Government Access Comcast Channel 21 and live-streamed on the City’s website https://seatacwa.gov/seatvlive and click the "live" Channel 1 grey box.
