A Safe Routes To School Project

 

This Safe Routes to School grant-funded project includes construction of sidewalks, curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities, installation of an enhanced crosswalk, pedestrian lighting and radar speed feedback signs. The project has been paved, and is awaiting final installation of pedestrian lighting, permanent signage.  

There will be new 4-way flashing LED Stop Signs installed at 34th Avenue South and S 166th Street, and two radar speed feedback signs will be installed near McMicken Elementary School.
