NEXT SESSION BEGINS MARCH, 2019
The SeaTac and Burien Police, in partnership with the King County Sheriff's Office, invite community members to a twelve week course designed to increase the understanding between residents and their police departments through public education. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
Graduates of the Community Police Academy gain a better understanding of the criminal justice system and an appreciation for the many challenges facing law enforcement in today's society. This knowledge will help community members better assist officers and increase safety in their neighborhoods.
This is an unique experience and it's offered at no cost to anyone who lives or works in the Cities of SeaTac or Burien. The next session begins on March 6 and ends with graduation on May 22, 2019.. Applications for this session are being accepted now..
