The following Council direction was given at the November 13, 2018 Regular Council Meeting:

  • Refer to Administration & Finance Committee

    Time accounting software system presentation (CIR request)                                   

  • City Manager to enter into an agreement (under $50,000)

    Level 1 Marketing and Feasibility study for a potential convention/conference center in SeaTac 

  • Refer to Planning & Economic Development Committee

    Findings from the Level 1 Marketing and Feasibility study for a potential convention/conference center in SeaTac 

  • Refer to Transportation & Public Works Committee
    Sound Transit maintenance and operation of facilities in SeaTac

Agenda Bill #5023; An Ordinance #18-1035 Authorizing the City's 2019 Property Tax Levy was adopted November 13, 2018 and becomes effective November 24, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5022; An Ordinance #18-1036 adopting the City's 2019-2020 Biennial Budget was adopted November 13, 2018 and becomes effective November 24, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5024; A Resolution #18-016 amending the City of SeaTac Schedule of License Fees, Permit Fees, Other Fees and Charges for City Services was passed November 13, 2018 and becomes effective January 1, 2019.

Agenda Bill #5082; A Resolution #18-017 adopting City Financial Policies was passed and became effective November 13, 2018.  

Agenda Bill #5083; An Ordinance #18-1037 creating an Interfund Loan Program was adopted November 13, 2018 and becomes effective November 24, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5087; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to enter contracts with selected human services agencies for funding in 2019 and 2020, as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Committee was carried, as amended by removing the West African Community Council and Partners in Employment, and became effective November 13, 2018.

This agency was voted on separately due to CM Ahmed having a conflict of interest:
A Motion authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Partners in Employment for funding in 2019 and 2020, as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Committee was carried, and became effective November 13, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5074; An Ordinance 18-1038 establishing the authority to create permit parking zones and enforce parking violations within the designated zones (from the 10/23 RCM) was adopted November 13, 2018 and becomes effective January 1, 2019.

Agenda Bill #5080; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with PayLock to purchase software and equipment in support of the Permit Parking Program was carried and became effective November 13, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5052; An Ordinance amending Section 15.700.310 and repealing Section 15.445.260 of the SeaTac Municipal Code related to the Zoning Code
