The following Council direction was given at the October 23, 2018 Regular Council Meeting:

  • Refer to Planning & Economic Development Committee

    Discussion on community outreach regarding planning and development related issues as part of the City’s communications plan

  • Refer to Parks & Recreation and Planning & Economic Development Committees Joint Meeting
    Discuss whether to join the South King County Housing and Homelessness Partnership (SKHHP)

Agenda Bill #5038; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Stewart MacNichols Harmell, Inc. P.S. to provide Indigent Defense Services in the SeaTac Municipal Court was carried and became effective October 23, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5060; A Motion confirming appointments to the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Board of Directors was carried and became effective October 23, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5044; A Motion adopting an Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Self Assessment and Transition Plan was carried and became effective October 23, 2018.  

Agenda Bill #5076; A Motion adopting the 2019 Legislative Agenda was carried and became effective October 23, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5046; A Resolution #18-014 declaring the City's continued interest in maintaining a leadership role in support of the deployment of vehicles with automated driving capabilities on the City's public roadways was passed, as amended by revising Section 1 to read “The SeaTac City Council declares its interest in maintaining a municipal leadership role in support of the deployment of vehicles with automated driving capabilities on the city’s public roadways in order to nurture, cultivate, and advance the beneficial impact of this technology application,” and became effective October 23, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5065; A Resolution #18-015 to finalize the 2017 and 2018 unclaimed property reporting to the State of Washington was passed and became effective October 23, 2018.

Agenda Bill #5071; An Ordinance #18-1034 amending the 2017-2018 Biennial Budget was adopted October 23, 2018 and becomes effective November 3, 2018.

The following item was referred to the October 23, 2018 Regular Council Meeting as an Action Item:
Agenda Bill #5074; An Ordinance establishing the authority to create permit parking zones and enforce parking violations within the designated zones.

The following item was removed from the agenda prior to the meeting:
Agenda Bill #5073; A Motion authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with                for the installation of chain link fence with slats on S.188th Street.
